Depending on your voluntary privacy selection, the telemetry node collects and processes:

• Public IP Address: IPv4 or IPv6 network address allocated by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
• Coarse Geolocation Data: Approximate city, region, and ISO country code derived from public ASN records.
• Network Provider / ASN: Autonomous System Name and ISP identifier.
• HTTP Header & User-Agent: Browser version, operating system identifier, and protocol version.
• Telemetry Request Metrics: Timestamped request counts, request frequencies, and edge latencies.

4. Legal Basis for Data Processing

We process your technical network data pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (Explicit Consent given via the entry prompt) and Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (Legitimate Interests pursued by the controller to prevent automated bot attacks, rate-limit malicious traffic, and maintain node stability).

5. Voluntary Opt-Out & Immediate Anonymization Rights

Participation in our public telemetry leaderboard is entirely voluntary. If you choose "Cancel / Opt-Out", your actual IP address is immediately redacted and masked as 127.0.0.1 (ANONYMOUS). In Anonymous Mode, no telemetry request volume is linked to your real network identity, and you will not be able to view other users' IP addresses.

6. Public Leaderboard & Activity Log Disclosures

If consent is granted, your public IP address, coarse location, and total request counts will be published on the publicly accessible Request Leaderboard and Recent Activity Feed. Users who opt out cannot view unmasked IP data.

7. Cookies, Web Storage & Client-Side State

We do not utilize tracking cookies or persistent third-party advertising identifiers. We utilize HTML5 localStorage strictly for essential state retention (storing your consent state and local request counter). You may clear this data at any time via your browser settings.

8. Third-Party CDNs & Infrastructure Providers

Our services utilize distributed cloud networks (including edge CDNs and IP geolocation APIs like ipapi.co and ipify.org) to resolve IP routing. These providers act as data processors under strict security and confidentiality obligations.

9. Data Retention & Automatic Purge Schedule

Active telemetry entries on the leaderboard are maintained for operational demonstration. Live activity logs are automatically rotated on a rolling basis (retaining a maximum of 50 recent entries). Local session metrics can be cleared by deleting your browser storage.

10. Data Subject Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Under applicable law, you possess the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data; the right to restrict processing; the right to object to processing; and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

11. Protection of Minors

Our node is intended strictly for general audience technical observation and is not directed to individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the data controller disclaims all liability for unauthorized third-party scraping, network interception, or user reliance on public telemetry metrics.
